History

The Kraft Pulping Course evolved from the TAPPI – and later, PAPTAC – courses of the same name. The association-sponsored courses, usually three days long, ran from 1992 to 2006. The students consistently rated them at 85% and above in meeting their professional needs. Then and now, the same teachers provide the course content. The format is informal and highly interactive. The course offers a unique blend of knowledge, experience, and professional judgment. It’s the most effective way to get immersed quickly in what you should know about the kraft pulping process, kraft pulp bleaching, and kraft mills in general.
